Review: Miyabi Falling in Love

The 8th chapter of the 2x2 Shinobuden anime, "Miaybi Falling in Love" begins with Miyabi and a young boy walking home together from summoner's school.

They talk for a bit and are friendly and eventually he heads off on his own leaving Miyabi behind. She blushes and turns go her own way, only to discover the whole 2x2 Shinobuden crew has been spying on her. She is obviously upset that she was being watched. Onsokumaru and Sasuke press Miyabi about the situation and we learn the boy's name is Takeru.

Miyabi is visably distraught over her crush and Onsokumaru offers to help. The crew soon find themselves in the medical wing of the ninja dojo. Apparently Onsokumaru has commissioned a love potion from some ninja scientists.

Once he learns that that love potion is ready he drinks the whole thing down (I thought it was for Miyabi...) Unfortunately for him, he learns that by drinking the potion he won't have women fall in love with him, instead whoever he sees first he will fall in love with.

He starts to panic and coves his eyes, hoping to get himself in front of Shinobu before he sees anyone else. Blindly thrashing around the room, he ends up coming face to face with his own reflection. How fitting.

We then get lots of Onsokumaru being muscular and sexy with himself (so weird). Miyabi finally looses her temper at the whole situation, and summons up a wealth of power, destroying the whole medical building. When her and Shinobu emerge out of the rubble they realize that Onsokumaru and the Sasuke ninjas are gone.

Cut to the boys confronting Miyabi's crush on the way the home. They exaplin to him at bazooka point that hey are going to find out if he is the right man for Miyabi.

Beofre poor Tekeru knows what is going on, Miyabi shows up pissed off as hell and beats down Onsokuamru and the Sasuke corps with. She completly loses it and it finally it takes Takeru to calm her down.

Miyabi surveys the destrustion and is ashamed and then runs off embarresed. Takeru gives chase.

Finaly he catches up, just as the sun is setting. Miyabi is emotional and but he manages to calm her down. Just as the sun is setting on the lake, Miaybi begins to reveal her feelings.

We fast forward to Miyabi beating down Onsokumaru back at the dojo, shouting, "He already had a girlfriend!"
