Review: Ninja Christmas

The 2x2 Shinobuden episode "Ninja Christmas" begins in Kaede's room. She is hanging Xmas decorations when Shinobu and Onsokumaru arrive and invite her to a party on the 24th of Decembers. Kaede at first assumes it must be a Christmas party but soon learns that the ninjas don't celebrate Christmas, they were just planning on sitting around eating old food and talking about nonsense.

Kaede decides to take it upon herself to teach the ninjas about Christmas and soon she finds herself at the ninja mansion trying to lead Christmas party. there are a few problems. Onsokumaru was supposed to buy a tree but instead had decorated a poisonous mushroom. It gets him thrown out of the dojo.

He doesn't stay out long, barging back inside to eat the entire Christmas cake. This gets him beaten on and thrown outside again. Luckily Kaede had bought a second cake just in case, unfortunately it doesn't last long until Onsokumaru has figured out a way to eat it was well.

With both cakes eaten, they decide to exchange gifts. Kaede gives Shinobu a scarf, and Shinbu give Kaede a bamboo walking stick with a hidden blade it it. HAHA! Yes!

The episode ends with the whole cast watching the snow fall.
